Concerning & Potentially Concerning Content
There is hardly anything concerning with this book. We should mention, one of the main characters sets out on their own on a perilous errand near the end of the book. While this is rightly seen as selfless, heroic and brave it is also of course dangerous. You can discuss that God has given your child loving parents (or guardians) that they can come to for advice and help in situations that feel desperate.

Our Thoughts
This is a Kingdom resource, a Christ-centered book that focuses on the importance of forgiveness and the consequences of not giving it. It takes the sin of bitterness and unforgiveness, which has ruined countless lives, and presents it in a way children will understand. It is also very entertaining. Wonderful characters. Salvation is a key focus towards the culmination of the book. As a bonus, there is a movie to watch after you read!
