Concerning & Potentially Concerning Content

This title is a good example of why it is important to identify and be cautious of your points of bias. In this case, assuming this book is safe because it is older is a mistake. Outside of a single mention of prayer at bedtime there is very little good in this book, certainly not enough to overcome all of the negative content above (remember this is a short book). On top of this, it is a bit confusing and unsatisfying that the book consists of a series of very short “stories” that each seem mostly unrelated, not following a key goal/story and certainly never learning solid character-building messages along the way. While this is not a complete “avoid”, it is close. This is one we suggest Christian families lean towards avoiding.
