Concerning & Potentially Concerning Content
There is almost nothing here when it comes to concerning content for this Christian title. There is a bit of bickering, negative sarcasm and things like eye rolling between a young man Brett and the other two main characters, Miss and Madam, throughout the story. It has a bit of a humorous feel to it, but something to be aware of. Brett makes a few comments like self-centered comments like, “I know. I’m pretty awesome”. This also is intended to be funny. The group of characters reference being “lucky”.

Our Thoughts
We love reviewing Christian books as they tend to be a complete contrast to secular titles (as they should be). Instead of us having to spend lengths of time detailing out long lists of concerning content, we instead get to spend our time listing out solid, faith-building sections of what we read. That is the case here. Since you can read in the Publisher Summary what the plot is about, here we will take time to let you, as Christian parents know what their young readers will see from a Christian perspective when they read this one: This starts right away, when we see the dedication that says, “To our Lord and Savior, Jesus Chris, who gave us the humor and imagination to write this book” along with a portion of Mt. 19:26, “With God, all things are possible”. When in an urgent and dangerous situation, Brett tells the girls, “I need a verse” (we love that!). Miss replies with Philippians 4:6 “Do not be anxious about anything…”. Miss’ prayer begins with “Heavenly Father” and ends with “In Jesus name, Amen”. There are several genuine prayers, including Madam praying for help. Even a side character adds to this prayer focus, saying “I think it’s important for us to pray… we’re going to need wisdom to figure out where… she is. Without God’s help we could easily overlook something”. We find out this man is a pastor. The girls show real faith, saying, “God is with us. He will help us solve this case”. When Brett is captured, he recites Joshua 1:9 Miss proclaims, “Praise God!” The characters reassure each other with Mt. 19:26 When asked how a group of characters know each other they explain that they are a part of the same church. The book goes on to share that they have biblical names, with the story going on to share the source of each. Miss meets a group of bikers who turn out to be committed Christians. One recounts how he was radically saved from a life of sin. The authors use this moment to share John 3:16 with young readers. How cool is that! At a birthday party, a Christian song is performed. When Brett is anxious and tired, the girls share 1 Peter 4:7. When they encounter a rude woman, the characters pray she has a better day (awesome!) 1 Cor. 13 is used as a part of a wedding ceremony Both author’s bios include when they were saved, their love for evangelism and favorite verse. Even with all of this the book still ends with a longish section of scripture. So good.

WHEN MISS, MADAM, AND BRETT CONTINUALLY COME FACE TO FACE WITH A CRIMINAL THEY CAN’T ARREST, WILL THEY REMAIN FOCUSED ON THE FACT THAT WITH GOD, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE? As Miss and Madam, twin spies in training, witness the theft of a brand-new video game and its developer’s kidnapping by none other than Bigfoot, they know they must put their spy skills to the test to catch this dangerous criminal before anyone else gets hurt. However, the twins’ mission doesn’t start out as planned. When they fall into Brett’s life, literally, they convince this every-day teen to join their pursuit (or is it more like twist his arm?). Will these three rookies be able to work together to solve the case with its unexpected twists and turns? Or, will Bigfoot be able to cover up his tracks, his stinky toes, and walk away free?

You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
— Matthew 5:14-16
